Employee Performance Scores (EPScores) Platform

At Employee Performance Scores (EPScores), we are committed to safeguarding the privacy and confidentiality of all users. This agreement outlines our policies and practices to ensure that your personal and performance-related information is protected.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Personal Information: We collect only the essential personal information required to create your profile and accurately evaluate performance. This may include your name, email address, and optionally, the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN) for identity confirmation.

Performance Reviews: Detailed performance reviews are submitted by employers and are accessible only to the employee and the reviewer. These reviews are used to generate your EP Score.

2. Confidentiality of Performance Reviews

Restricted Access: Detailed performance reviews are strictly confidential and can only be accessed by the employee and the individual providing the review.

EP Scores: Only the EP Score, which is derived from the performance reviews, will be visible to other employers and members of the EPScores platform.

3. Data Protection

Security Measures: We employ advanced security measures to protect your data, including encryption, secure servers, and regular security audits. Any sensitive personal information, including partial SSNs, is encrypted and securely stored only as long as needed.

Compliance: EPScores adheres to all relevant data protection laws and regulations, including the FTC guidelines and applicable state laws such as California’s CCPA, to ensure your information is handled legally and ethically.

4. User Rights

Access and Control: Employees have the right to access their detailed performance reviews and understand how their EP Score is calculated.

Feedback and Corrections: Employees can provide feedback on their reviews and request corrections if they believe there are inaccuracies.

5. Transparency and Communication

Clear Explanations: We provide comprehensive explanations of how EP Scores are generated from performance reviews to ensure transparency and understanding.

Support: Our support team is available to address any concerns or questions you may have about your data and privacy.

6. Third-Party Access

No Unauthorized Sharing: We do not share your detailed performance reviews with any third parties. Only EP Scores are shared with potential employers and other platform members as authorized by you.

7. Data Retention and Disposal

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. After that, we securely delete or anonymize the data. Specifically, partial SSNs (last four digits) are encrypted and retained only while necessary for identity verification purposes, and are disposed of promptly once no longer needed.

8. Fraud Prevention and Multi-Account Protection

To protect the integrity of the platform, we require email verification during account creation and employ CAPTCHA and other device/IP-based safeguards to prevent impersonation and fraudulent activity. Users are prohibited from creating multiple accounts or impersonating others.

9. Children’s Privacy

EPScores is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information promptly.

10. Breach Notification Policy

In the event of a data breach involving personal or sensitive data, EPScores will notify affected users in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. We maintain an internal incident response plan to address such events promptly and effectively.

Termination & Cancellation Policy


Membership Cancellation:
As a member of the Employee Performance Scores (EPScores) Platform, you have the flexibility to cancel your membership at any time. You can terminate your membership through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Once your membership is canceled, you will no longer have access to the platform’s features, including the ability to submit or view EP Scores.

Data Ownership:
Please note that while you can cancel your membership at any time, all information and data collected during your time as a member remain the property of the EPScores Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, EP Scores, reviews, performance data, and any other information submitted or generated on the platform. EPScores Platform reserves the right to retain, use, and continue to display this data as part of our service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

By maintaining or canceling your membership, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
